The Rack

My wife and I's first date over 35 years ago was to go "just play some pool - as friends" in her words. So, spending time playing pool has always been special for us. The Rack fulfills all that special-ness for us. I highly recommend this place for any and all. Like with my wife, it's got something that deserves to be yours just as it has served its community so well for so long. Just go and you will know.

Great pool spot! Good vibes, friendly folk- Jon and Evan ran a great tournament yesterday. I felt right at home in this place, definitely my new hang out.

Ownership changed and this place reopened in late 2025. Inside has been repainted but still bears some of the same lighting and other items from the previous Don Q's. Cash, credit/debit card payment. Rent the table by the hour and time is prorated by the minute. Went on a weeknight and it was packed. Lots of young people here and in larger groups - which means people milling around their tables. The tables are close enough together that this can pose problems and obstacles when you're trying to shoot! Less busy earlier in the week and before dark. Local shooters practice during daylight hours.

Can't believe this location is open again!! All new, clean, and way more fun. The table rentals are really easy. The management at The Rack is doing a great job keeping it family friendly and very welcoming.

Came here while visiting Santa Barbara, seems like a new place that opened recently. Friendly staff and folks playing pool, overall a really chill environment and prices are super reasonable!
