The thing about this GGTR is the ambience. On game days, I swear this place is the spot to be. I usually stick with the wings, or the Jalapeño poppers, but on a random Wednesday, I went in and got the 49er chicken sandwich. It was okay. The curly fries were honestly the best part. The food here is good drinking food in my opinion, but a bit pricy for the portion size. Get to the bar and order your drinks and food. Don’t wait, or else you’ll be waiting forever.

Gives an authentic small town old sports bar vibe. It’s on second floor. Open loft type atmosphere. Great place to watch football. I came to watch an NFL wild card game that was on Amazon Prime and they had it on because they have a commercial football TV package. The Golden Joe drink (pictured) was absolutely fantastic! If beer is you thing they also have a strong beer list. Food is just bar food (and mediocre bar food at that) but was hot and tasty. Five (5) jalapeño poppers were $10 which is pretty typical. Service was slow but to be fair it was packed with football fans so they were crushed. Would definitely come back.

Overall great place to enjoy nice food, drinks and have some fun watching sports or playing arcade games. An undisputed favorite for my first month in SF.

Best place to catch a game, doesnt matter which sport you into. I watched NYK vs Spurs game 1 with my collegues. I am giving 4 stars to Service and Food , not because service and food was bad but because place was jam packed, it must have been a nightmare for staff but still not bad on such a busy evening. Overall experience was very good.

Solid sports bar up on the top floor with loads of massive screens showing pretty much everything (plus one randomly showing Barbie, which gave us a laugh). It’s all order-at-the-bar for both food and drinks, which suited us fine — quick and no fuss. Food was exactly what you want from a place like this. I went for the BBQ wings with a cold draft lager, partner had fries and a wine — all hit the spot. Nothing fancy, just good, satisfying bar grub. Nice atmosphere too, with a bit going on — shuffleboard and a few other games if you fancy it. Good place to hang out, watch some sport, and have a couple of drinks.
