Q's Billiard Club and Restaurant is easily one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles to kick back with friends after a long week. As a Local Guide, I've seen my fair share of sports bars, but the lively atmosphere here really stands out. With plenty of well-maintained pool tables and screens everywhere, it’s the perfect place to grab some drinks, enjoy some classic pub fare, and catch a game. The service is surprisingly fast and friendly, even on busy weekend nights when the place gets packed. Whether you're a serious pool player or just looking for a laid-back night out in Los Angeles, this place is a genuinely solid choice. I highly recommend getting there a bit early if you want to secure a table without a wait!

I was a regular here. Twice a week, sometimes more, for months. Hundreds of dollars in table time, drinks, tips. The kind of customer who keeps a place like this open.
Then my license expired by one day, and suddenly none of that mattered. I was treated like a flight risk over a thirty-dollar tab—by people who’ve seen my face a hundred times and run my card just as many.
“Policy,” they said.
Policy is what you hide behind when you’ve stopped thinking.
**The tables:** Crooked. Unlevel. You’ll watch a ball drift on what should be a straight shot and realize the equipment doesn’t care about your skill—it’s working against you. The felt is worn through in spots, with actual holes. For a place that charges for table time, this is embarrassing. You’re paying for the privilege of playing on surfaces that would get laughed out of any serious pool hall.
**The ID policy:** They hold your driver’s license while you play. Not in a lockbox, not behind the counter in a secure spot—in an open tray, visible to every employee, every customer, every person who walks through the door. Full names, home addresses, dates of birth, license numbers, all just si

Fantastic atmosphere.
Busy but lots of space to circulate. Lots of quiet corners to settle and watch a game or play pool.
Great service, timely, polite, helpful.
Great range of drinks.

This is a great place to spend time. Cam is an amazing person, Gracie goes above and beyond. The new manager with beard face is extremely rude. He should not be in the service business. Bad choice.

I’ve been to this place several times because I really enjoy the atmosphere, especially thanks to Yulian, the bartender. His great energy always makes it a fun and relaxing spot to visit after work with my coworkers.
Unfortunately, this last visit was very different. The security guard, José, was extremely rude and acted in a way that felt racist toward me. It was an unpleasant and disappointing experience, and because of that, we won’t be coming back.
