Stopped by Wynkoop Brewing Company and had a great experience. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the bison burger, and both were delicious. The chicken sandwich had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming, and the bison burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with friendly service throughout our visit. Great spot for good food, quality beer, and a relaxed downtown Denver vibe. We’d definitely come back to try more from the menu.

Wow! This place was my favorite on our recent Denver trip. Every beer we tried was delicious…even the one with bull testicles in it! We also had fried and shepherd pie. Both fantastic.

Wynkoop Brewing Company is a big, buzzy spot right by Union Station with loads of seating and that classic American brewpub feel. Easy, relaxed, and exactly what you want for a quick pit stop after a day wandering around the city. So much that we ended up there twice during our time in Denver! The beer list is great, with a good mix of their own brews and guest taps. I had the Hazer Tag NEIPA, which was super hoppy with really bright passionfruit and citrus notes – very much my kind of beer. Food-wise, the Wynkoop burger is the one to order: properly comforting, juicy, and ideal with a cold pint. We happened to visit when they had a dark beer event on upstairs (the “Day of Darks”), which was cool. And seems they also do a really good weekday lunch deal ($15 for a cheeseburger, fries and a pint). On another visit, we shared a few bar snacks: elote dip, nachos and fried pickles. All tasty (though the elote dip was a touch salty for my liking), and the portions were… genuinely enormous. Or maybe we still need to get used to US serving sizes 😅 All in all, a really solid, no-fuss Denver stop for good beer, hearty food and a lively atmosphere – the kind of place you’re glad to have

Lunch stop for my team (6). We ordered a some appetizers. The cheesy fries were good and the Elote, the rest just okay. I order the Bison Burger that I was sooooo looking forward to. I ordered it well (I don’t like to see pink—-sorry) . It came out pink. I ate around it to the dark spots on the edges so I wouldn’t hold up the group. When I showed the waitress she never apologized, offered to fix it, or replace it. That told me everything I needed to know about their level is service. Most everyone had something to say about their food. Someone’s Caesar salad come out wrong, someone commented the salmon they ordered was to rare. We all walked out of their saying yeahhhh, been there done that! We will pass next time in downtown Denver.

This place was great. Many different spaces to find the vibe you want. Restaurant, local bar, and sidewalk viewing downstairs. Upstairs was a bit more low key on a quiet Saturday with a slower bar, pool tables and games playing in the background. Food was good. Bar food vibe but large selection. Beer list was great, including sample flights. All in all a great way to kill sometime downtown.
