Denver/Lakewood Stockyard Saloon - The Yard Bar

Heard from others that there is a great happy hour however, we showed up after 9 on Saturday. We were able to enjoy our drinks and talk without feeling like you have to raise your voice or lean in to talk louder. The service was friendly and the beer was cold! If this place were to offer live music, this place would stay packed. Yes, I will be back, 2 thumbs up.

Stockyard Inn – A True West Colfax Gem Stockyard Inn is the kind of bar where everyone feels like a regular. It’s no‑frills, welcoming, and has that “everyone knows your name” atmosphere that makes it special. The food is delicious, with a scrap‑cooking style that feels hearty and authentic. But the real highlight is the specialty drinks — creative, well‑made, and better than you’d expect from a dive bar. This place might just be the best dive bar on the west side of Colfax. If you’re looking for a spot with character, great food, and even better drinks, Stockyard Inn delivers.

Love the new place and the staff!! Food was awesome 👌. We had nachos, bottle caps (fried jalapeños) and of course the famous wings, BBQ style. Highly recommend all 3! We will be back.

WOW!! Very affordable considering the amount of food you get. Fresh really good food and variety of alcoholic beverages. Can't wait to go there again. I don't eat out much but this will be an exception to my rule. Service was great and friendly. I had the double burger with homemade chips. I wanted some extra meat for my dog to enjoy too. I only ate half because it was soooo big! I hope not too many people find this place 😂 because it's a bit small inside and I like being seated. The bar area is big so food service at the bar is plentiful.
