El Tenampa Mexican Restaurant and Bar

We stopped by a Friday night to see a friend, unless you know someone they only seem to have one waiter. Atmosphere is good the girls all work there and hustle you charge 10$ for a small beer to keep you company. The bathrooms are over flooded and it smells like sewer a 10$ cover fee per person. My wife said girls in the bathroom were pissing in the sink floor and trash can the toilets didn’t have any toilet paper so the women’s bathroom was unusable. She was so disgusted we had to leave definitely not a place to come out to have fun unless you like pissing like an animal.

You need to speak spanish to get goot service here and the food looks, smells, and tastes terrible.

Cheese in the rellenos tasted like it had been frozen too long and tasted old. Enchilada was meh... tamale masa tasted rancid. Chips tasted like they had been open all night. Beans and rice were alright. Taco was meh... will never return or recommend. The cook came out, but we were still charged the full amount. The whole place could use a massive wash down with heavy duty soap and water.

It’s always a disappointment when I walk in. The chips are stale, and the guacamole is bland. From the service to the cleanliness, everything was subpar, and did I mention the food is awful? There are even two pool tables, but they’re worn out and in poor condition. Plenty to complain about here.

I shoot pool and was in the area so I stopped in. I can’t speak Spanish they didn’t care, I ordered a pitcher and shot pool for like 5 hours - players are good tables are well kept - I personally liked it there -
