Wonderful bar! Great staff, lovely patrons, happy and laid back vibe, tasty drinks, and a satisfying array of bar snacks. Also, drag bingo benefitting local charities!

We had our after wedding dance party here and had so much fun!! We came strolling in with a group of 30 people on a Tuesday and were met with the best service and hospitality. Rocco was an amazing help and our bartender (was it Ashley, I'm sorry, I'm terrible with names) was FABULOUS!!! Thank you both for making our after wedding dance party an incredible evening to remember!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Came to Kona for the first time in my life on 4/11/26. First place my friends and I go to was MY Bar and I was not in there more than 1 hour before I got roofied. I was the only black female in their and definitely felt targeted. I know for a fact I was drugged because my friend saw it from across the room and couldn’t get to me fast enough to knock the shot out my hand before I took the it. Furthermore my friends told me the establishment made it a big deal that I was “drunk” and proceeded to try and kick us out telling us we HAD to go. Of course I don’t remember anything that happened but my friends and I genuinely felt like the establishment had to have been in on the situation because the next day locals confirmed this is something that regularly happens there. I was so hurt someone tried to do something to me when all I wanted was a little fun, no pun intended (with my right mind)! This was a terrible experience and I think the worst of this establishment. I hope anyone who goes here proceeds with caution or just simply don’t go!

MyBar is the best place in Kona to enjoy a great time with new and old friends alike! It’s a place where ANYONE of any race and sexual orientation can feel safe, accepted, and happy! Every member of the staff works diligently to ensure that these standards of safety and acceptance are met with the highest echelon of service and care :) MyBar is a MUST stop when coming to Kona!!

All I can say is thank you all! We had such a great time out celebrating my birthday! Jet took such good care of us! The place is clean, friendly, and a great mix of music! The outdoor area is great for conversations and chilling out! The chicken tenders were fantastic and great drink prices! One of the best gay bar experiences we ever had!
