7 ft and 9 ft tables available. Also coin-op tables available. Typical bar food but freshly made. Beers are reasonably priced. Parking is very close in plentiful. My only complaint is there are no green pool tables.

We’ve been here before, and unfortunately this isn’t our first bad experience. The last time we came, after we had already paid and were about to close out our tab, the same employee literally threw the pen toward my head and just laughed it off. We were shocked, but we brushed it aside at the time. This time, we came with a group of friends and paid for a pool table, expecting to have a fun night. Instead, we were once again treated poorly by that same employee. We were some of the only Hispanic customers there, and every time we asked for help, we were dismissed or ignored. It honestly felt intentional. Our table kept malfunctioning, and when we notified staff, nothing was done to fix it. We waited around 20 minutes while our tab continued running, with no real assistance or sense of urgency. We were simply there to enjoy ourselves like everyone else and paying the same as everyone else, yet we were treated differently. The employee (heavier set, long greasy hair — didn’t catch his name) acted unprofessional, inattentive, and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It’s frustrating that in this day and age, people can still be treated this way. We won’t be returning.

You will be absolutely amazed when you walk into this billiard club. They really outdid themselves with this stunning environment. It's actually an amazing gem for the greater Des Moines area.

My wife and I visited for the first time at the new location, yesterday. The Diamond tables are top of the line and play perfectly. The spacing between the tables is better than most pool halls, allowing people to play next to you without interfering with your game. A huge bar that makes it easy to find a spot and get served quickly. They also have an extensive selection of liquor. We enjoyed the pizza and intend to try other selections from the menu on future visits. This may be our new "go to" spot when we're in Des Moines. Overall, it's a very nice place that I will be suggesting to my friends.

Today was the day! We've been going to the previous location for years. We've been going to The New Rack since open. We obviously like it because we go back. BUT today, I needed something to eat, about dinner time. And ordered The Rack bone in buffalo wings. Freaking amazing. Its been a long while since I've discovered new good wings. These are good enough I could go there for a lb and not even play pool. Can't wait to go back for those!!
