Franco's Pizzeria and Pub

Went there to play pool and have dinner pizza. I never drink beer and the bartender was helpful and fun about my beer ignorance. We let the pizza cool while we played a round of pool. It was PERFECT. PERFECT BEER/PIZZA/POOL COMBO MOVE! The music was slightly lame.

I got a large cheese pizza, which was delicious, cooked perfectly with a nice crunch but not burnt and not super greasy. I forgot to take a picture of it, but it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had. I also got this veal Parmesan which is incredible too. They make all this stuff fresh in their kitchen. They give you a ton of veal, cooked perfectly and I got ziti with it. This is one of the best meals I’ve had and the staff here are awesome people. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you get the chance.

Warm, friendly service and customer crowd. Fun time with the music and karaoke. So much more welcoming to our-of-towners than the place across the street.

Had it first time with my boyfriend recently and his dad. It was great! Sauce had good flavor, it wasn’t too oily, and had perfect crisp to it.

We stayed in Waltham while we visited for funeral. After a hard day saying goodbye to someone we loved, I think we were all craving the kind of New England style pizza we ate back when we lived in Connecticut. Franco’s was everything we could have hoped for. A friendly, no-bs atmosphere and a pretty much perfect cheese and tomato pie. I don’t know when or if I’ll be in Waltham again, but if I am, I’ll be making a trip back to Franco’s.
