Had a great time visiting Salem, and we were greeted by a great VFW group, who invited us Florida folks in for warmth, some brews. Told us to order the meatball sub to curve our appetite…and damn they were spot on! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality of this post!

My favorite secret spot in salem. I ran over from the laundromat to grab my husband some lunch (it was excellent) and we liked it so much we came back in the evening to watch the Chicago Bears game. Everything was reasonably priced and the company was great ❤️ Rocky and Jenni were fabulous.

Had our wedding here on the 26th. We had an absolute blast! Rick and the staff really took good care of us throughout the process. Everything is fairly priced, and they were super accommodating. The food was so good! Served haddock bites, stuffed mushrooms, penne ala vodka, steak tips, lobster rolls, and a few other sides. They just updated their kitchen and they knocked it out of the park. They pour a strong drink too! From beginning to end, Rick was so easy to work with, and we had a lovely event with 70 people. Couldn't be happier with how the day went!

Ohh my God... My friend asked me out for lunch (of course I said sure where to?) He said the VFW I said for .lunch there..n drinks ..let's say I was thinking more like Rockefellers..nothing against the VFW but he did say lunch . (of course I went).. I just want to say how pleasantly surprised I was...the girls are fantastic.. She made me the best breakfast(fresh blueberries, whipped cream) like Lisa really put her heart into my breakfast and I seem to always forget that point That's why I love places like the VFW, THEY PUT THEIR HEART N SOUL INTO EVERYTHING..where I feel at the fancy shmancy places u don't get heart n soul. I had a great time...got a fabulous breakfast on Sunday..with home town people .can't get much better...***** Ps.. My friend got the homemade clam chowder raves about it "on his pg "North Shore eats " for all you foodies..
