A cool indoor/outdoor joint. Laid back vibes. An easy and worth the walk from town.We had the Chile relleno that was recommended as their popular item and it helped up. Great flavors and just the right amount of spice. the green Chile soup was a hit too. We saw the Chile burger and it was pretty big, but people seemed to be enjoying it. We were seated immediately for lunch. Friendly staff and speedy service.

Great time at Cowgirl! Happy hour til 6pm was $5 on all their 24 beers and $6 house margs! The shared the bbq ribs plate and the friend chicken green chile mac. We also got the side of queso dip. The bbq ribs were good (not amazing) but the sides of coleslaw, potatoes and beans for $19 made for a delicious overall plate. The green chile Mac & cheese with friend chicken was delicious!! And the side of queso for $6 was generous, super tasty and served with lots of tortilla chips. Highly recommend this combo of dishes, we were beyond stuffed with all this good food!! We loved the outdoor patio, as did our dog :) There was live music from 4-6pm, wish it lasted a bit longer but good to know for a future visit. Service was friendly, a bit slow as they were quite packed (and it was a Tuesday!). I recommend going for happy hour to enjoy the live music, great drink prices, and yummy food!

While in Santa Fe for a business conference, I discovered CowGirl through Open Table and I'm glad I did. The menu is very diverse and my server was fantastic. I selected one of their large salads topped with spicy grilled chicken. They also have tasty desserts.

Cowgirl is a regular place for my family. Laura is the BEST server we’ve had and will ask for her each time we go! The outdoor play space our kids love, with a small outside playset and wall activities, has heaters and Laura always made it a point to make sure we were taken care of and not forgotten. The BBQ sampler platters and the Butternut Squash casserole is amazing food! The bar makes great drinks with a lot of selections to pick from. The kids menu is good too! We will continue to come regularly!

I was a little trepidatious because it's a bit pricey, but wow. So tasty. Great food, awesome service, nice people. Love the building, reminds me of la Posta de Mesilla.
