love this bar such a cozy neighborhood spot. love the day time bartender with the blonde hair, she always greets me with a smile and fills my drink before i even have to ask. The regulars here are so cool and always great conversation if youre coming alone looking for some company, but also very respectful if you do not. 10/10 bar definitely my favorite spot in the village.

Honestly the beers were great. But the bartender was really aggravated with our very regular questions like how to use the pool table and can we have another beer. She seemed to be taking out her anger on something else on the customers and was not open to honest feedback, just hostile and not interested

Really cool & cozy old bar in alphabet city. Pours a good guiness and has a table in the back. Loved my time at the Bluegrass Jam on Monday night (starts @9).

Went there on Tuesday night, they were playing jazz.
Affordable prices, no coverage but courtesy tipping the band.

Cute spot, lady behind the bar is needlessly aggressive and mean. First time interacting with her: absolutely awful. Could be a really nice spot without her (hence the 2 stars)
