Incredible place to grab a drink and meet some really cool folks! We popped in for a short while but honestly I wanted to stay all night. I’ll be back whenever I’m in NYC :-)

Extremely disrespectful and rude upon first interaction. The bartender immediately started yelling at our group to quickly order drinks or we would be kicked out. firstly, we had just arrived hadn't even had a chance to sit. secondly, they were no way near their closing time so the rush had no justifying. Some of the people in our group had to use the restroom upon arrival prior to ordering their drinks and that apparently was very upsetting to the ill mannered bartender. And when, even though we shouldn't have had to, we rushed to order drinks he asked us where we were coming from. Not even focusing on our orders he seemed so eager to receive. Once we explained we had come from another place close by that had too long of a line, he immediately screamed and yelled for us to leave. Bar hopping, which we didn't even do, is very common in manhattan so I'm not sure what justification he felt. He obviously wanted us to leave his very empty, shall I say, bar. The two groups there were very creepy older men and highschool boys. If you are gonna get so upset for bathroom usage; maybe check ids better before letting 17 year old boys in. The best dive bar in Downtown. If you want to visit Lower Manhattan this is the best place to go. Our Bartender was an angel and so was the the crowd a fun place to socialize and hang out! Highly recommended!!

Cool music but ridiculous bartender. Asked her if she could pass me a cup so I could fill it with water from the available pitcher and she said “That won’t do anything for me”. I thought I MISHEARD her and asked what she said and she yelled “IF YOU’RE NOT PAYING ME I’M NOT GONNA DO THAT”. She also got my drink order wrong and when we asked her to fix it she lost her mind over being busy with the patrons and started cursing me out (us being patrons that compose her busy-ness). I actually thought it was one of those gag places where the service workers are supposed to bully you for a second. Crazy. Good whiskey gingers. Also really gross bathroom. Poop and vomit everywhere.

I got stabbed here! Stay away!! Went here with a friend and we were just minding our own business when a rather sketchy person at a bar started harassing us. When I was leaving I got stabbed…Police came later but when that happen I told the bouncer not only did nothing but let the perp go… HE FAILED TO DO HIS JOB… and most likely was friends with the perp who stabbed me who seem to be a local here. There are other nicer places in LES. Hope this helps someone. Stay safe and don’t underestimate your safety
