Frog

While waiting for dinner at a friend’s house, I decided to stop by The Frog, where I knew another friend was enjoying a lively pool (billiards) night. It turned out to be a great decision—we both had a wonderful time sipping organic wine and beer while meeting fellow neighborhood regulars. The food looked very appealing, but I had to pass since I had dinner plans later. I definitely made a mental note to come back and try it next time. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The best summer wine bar in New York. But also cozy in the winter. Best wine, best service, and the backyard is a huge plus.

Great place if you want to spend $15 for the world’s tiniest glass of mediocre wine and not be able to sit down because a big birthday party in the back needs to save their chairs even though they’re all roaming around. Why does anyone go here? Just spend your $15 on an entire bottle from a store and sit outside with your friends instead.

Super cute place. I liked trying all the different wines, they have a few of each kind, without feeling overwhelmed by a giant menu.
