During my time there, I was there for an ASL Happy Hour with many people and I interacted with two bartenders. A younger man and then also John. Upon arrival and meeting with my friends, l attempted to order my food and drinks. John, who was my bartender, kept saying huh every time I would say my order. After the third time, my friend said he was making a joke/trying to be funny. After looking at him puzzled he then tried to gesture that he was making a joke and that it missed the mark. I don't see how making a joke about not being able to hear me when you clearly can and making me repeat myself at an ASL event seems like the best thing to do. I go to pay in cash after he says the price and then he doesn't give me all the change back but walks away. I get my drink but am still waiting on the fries I ordered. 25 minutes go by and I still have no fries so l end up asking the other waiter if there is a potential update on tries and he comes back and says 2 minutes. They come out over 5 minutes later leading me to think that John may not have even put the ordered in when I initially ordered it. The second was responsive and got me my next round fairly quickly but I didn't want to order

10/10 best pub we've been to in new york. Guinness was as close you'd get at home. John the owner/bartender was an absolute gent, really made us feel like we were at home. Couldn't recommend this place enough🍀🍀top guy

I was at this bar last night and witnessed an incident at the entrance that was honestly ridiculous and completely avoidable. A group was coming in and the bouncer immediately got aggressive and escalated things for no reason. It quickly turned into him shoving one of the guys out and continuing the confrontation outside. Watching staff turn something so small into a physical situation was honestly shocking. No one goes out expecting to deal with aggressive staff or feel uncomfortable the second they walk in. The whole thing left a really bad impression and completely killed the vibe. After seeing how that was handled, I definitely won’t be coming back, and I’d honestly tell others to avoid this place too if you want a night out without unnecessary drama.

The service is so rude. They are tipped with my card without my permission and 2 hours after I leave the bar. I can't believe such a bar needs more than 20% tip on a single one cup of beer. CRAZY! Give my money back. I don't want to tip you. Your rude service does not deserve 20%.

I don’t typically write reviews, but what happened here on January 30, 2026 was alarming and needs to be addressed. My friends entered this bar on a night when the real feel temperature was 0 degrees. As our group walked in, my boyfriend briefly held the door open for us (no more than 15–20 seconds max.) Instead of politely asking for the door to be closed, the bouncer immediately became hostile, yelling at/ insulting guests, and escalating the situation instead of handling it like an adult or professional. What should have been handled calmly escalated rapidly DUE TO THE BOUNCERS BEHAVIOR. He became aggressive, forcibly pushing our friend out of the bar and initiating a physical confrontation outside. Watching a staff member lose control and turn a non issue into a dangerous situation was alarming and unacceptable. A bar that allows its staff to behave this way is not somewhere people should feel comfortable or safe. For your own safety, I strongly urge people NOT TO GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
