Aloft by Marriott New York LaGuardia Airport

I stay near LGA and JFK fairly often, and this Aloft location is easily my favorite. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, and the airport shuttle is reliable and prompt—something I truly appreciate when traveling. The hotel is always nicely decorated for the season, which gives it a welcoming feel, and the rooms are super clean and very comfortable. Breakfast also offers a solid variety of options, making it an easy place to start the day. Overall, a consistently comfortable and dependable stay.

I stayed at the Aloft near LaGuardia during a solo business trip and had a great experience. The location couldn’t be more convenient for the airport, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and easy to get around. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was surprisingly delicious. The kitchen team even worked with my dietary needs, which I really appreciated. The shuttle service was also a big plus — it ran reliably, and the drivers were friendly and helpful. Even though this was a work trip, I’d absolutely stay here again with my family. The lobby has a fun vibe with video games, a pool table, and plenty of space for kids to hang out, plus a full bar for the adults. I was there during the holiday season, and the festive decorations made it feel especially inviting. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable stay and a hotel I’d happily return to.

Would be nice to have a comfortable lounge area, thw bar is more like a cafeteria. Rooms were clean, looks like a newer remodel. I stay near LGA the night before my flight when I'm in town, which I am often. I've stayed at the Marriott and Hilton nearby. Hilton was nicest bar / grill, rooms were not great. Marriott was terrible. Old rooms. Will likely stay at Aloft going forward.

Cynthia, the Front Desk girl, IS AMAZING. she was very hospitable, accommodating, and had great customer service. We were very pleased with our room. It was clean and comfortable and spacious. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport, which is super convenient. There is also a very good Halal food truck outside of the hotel. Worth it. And reasonable pricing for this time of the year around the holiday. We most liked the late checkout option, compared to other hotels. We would definitely stay here again. But I can’t express enough how nice Cynthia was, even while working alone and was very busy.

Arrived to check in in my hotel that was left outside with other guests because they only had one employee work in the front and we had to wait for someone who was actually staying here and already had a room key to help us open the door. When we finally got in the employee was very rude not apologetic and said oh well I’m the only one here. She then proceeds to check me in without any ounce of customer service and just hand me the key, as though she has an attitude that I am upset about having being left outside in the dark, waiting for several minutes.
