I had a wonderful stay here this week. The concierge Alex went above and beyond with helping me check in quickly (I was running late and had an Uber waiting) to arranging for a later check out for me. The welcome bag was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. All the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Big Bonus - there are dedicated parking spots right in front of the hotel - this is a big plus as the streets in FiDi are very narrow and construction is everywhere - always! Also, dog-friendly, they have water dishes and treets in the lobby. The room received 4 stars only because there was no mini-fridge or ice machine nearby and the in suite phone did not work. Otherwise, it was a comfortable bed and excellent water pressure in the shower.

We really enjoy this property. The staff is wonderful as we travel here quarterly. We enjoy the fact the staff remembers us and makes sure that our service dog is comfortable as well.
Special shout out to the housekeeping manager, Lizbeth as she and her team are always on their game making sure my room is prepared feather-free.
We are grateful to this team. If I had one area of improvement for the GM and site owner it would be to ensure that your guests have access to use luggage carts! That was a small struggle this visit but please make that small enhancement for the overall guest experience.
Many thanks,
Jason

I am astounded by the professionalism and quality hospitality of the Aloft Staff in Aloft FiDi. Anna & Jose were kind and helpful during my departure. There is good coffee available 24/7.
The area is under renovations, but the hotel does a great job at shielding guests from this. The room is standard to Aloft style, best for 1-2 people in my opinion. I was able to book a king size room in a pinch and found everything to be neat, clean, and relatively quiet & courteous guests. It’s not over the top fancy, but wow the customer service made me feel like royalty.
I recommend this hotel for any new visitors to the city, and that’s coming from 5-year New Yorker here. One last thing, the hotel room doors are heavy and slightly slanted so it may take two hands to open and close - but I have never felt safer (meaning I felt like I was sleeping in a bank level security room due to the weight of these doors).
Would absolutely stay there again if I needed an affordable, clean and comfortable hotel room with kind staff. Great job BON VOY + ALOFT + MARRIOTT ⭐️

I just checked into this hotel and have been very disappointed. I tried to check in two hours early which was not possible. Understandable. They held my bag but I was sent to use a bathroom in the basement which was dirty and cramped. Locks on the bathroom doors were broken and grimy. Both elevators need renovations. In my room the bathroom was dirty. A pubic hair on the toilet seat and stains on the walls. The bottom sheet on the bed has rips in it and doesn’t cover the bottom 10 inches of the mattress! The staff did bring more sheets when I called.

This was my first time staying at the Aloft in Manhattan and the staff was very helpful and so kind. Especially Valiesha, she was so kind to offer us the late checkout and was very understanding about needing early check in. I have never received such great customer service! I recommend staying here as it is close to the Brooklyn bridge. I booked a 2 king room and I was surprised by how spacious it was. You can hear other guests through the wall but it shouldn’t be that bad if they’re aren’t being loud on purpose other than that wonderful stay!
