Shotmakers Sports Bar and Billiards

After a 15 year break from playing pool I came across this spot a little over a year ago and am glad that I did. The staff is extremely inviting and a great group of regulars. Prices are right in line with the area and a good selection of drinks available. The restaurant menu is an assortment of regular “bar” food but the specials that Calvin and Andrew come up with are a must try. The biggest compliment I can give is that Calvin and his team have created a community where everyone is welcome. Never played before, seasoned pro or an old guy back from a long break, doesn’t matter. You will be welcomed with open arms. The community here even sparked an interest in pool to my daughter who was quickly adopted by everyone and now has tons of new “aunts and uncles who cheer her on in the weekly chip tournaments. I grew up in pool halls and have never seen that sort of acceptance before. The team here even goes as far to host events and raffles to raise money for players that have fallen on hard times or experience tragedy. I came to shotmakers last night and had a pretty amazing night! I came in and was immediately greeted by Katelynn! Didn’t know what I wanted to drink so she made me the most amazing strawberry margarita! Then she told me about the house favorite chicken wings… they lived up to every bit of the hype! I then got a oool table and noticed the fresh felt on the table ( You can tell they take care of the pool tables here!) All in all I recommend this place to anyone wanting to unwind and relax here in Garner! Will be coming back!!

I love going to Shotmakers! Great atmosphere, great pool tables, and very helpful and friendly staff!! This is a sports bar/pool hall, so understand you won't find gourmet food here. Very good place to drink, watch the games, and TOP NOTCH place to shoot pool! House cues are well maintained in comparison to most other pool room house cues. There's always a patron there willing to shoot with you or give you good advice to advance your game.

Have been going to Shotmakers for about a year for TAP league and have participated in several cash tournaments. Overall my experience has been great. The expanded space with additional tables, kitchen, and updated bathrooms is very nice (as a female who plays pool in several bars, having one with a nice bathroom is such a wonderful thing!). 9' Diamond tables that are maintained very well, a full bar, and the kitchen has continued to add menu items routinely. Recently I was part of a large group of people celebrating a birthday and want to give a special shout-out to Sean who was instrumental in making it a successful evening. From several touch points in the weeks preceding the party to the actual night, and a follow up the next day, Sean was professional and very friendly. The cost was extremely reasonable too. Would also love to shout-out to Katelynn, our usual bartender, for her always-friendly service and remembering my drink orders!

Right down the street from my work at tigon golf carts. I stop by sometimes after and meet my husband for a quick bite and watch the games that are on. Staff is awesome and food is Great
