Concordia Ale House

Owner, the food, and beer selection is amazing! Been here many times but decided to have lunch with my GF here today. A beer was slightly off, and he grabbed a glass to try it and promptly asked me if I would like a replacement. I always have the pulled pork sandwich and a beer for lunch here. My GF got the Cubano sandwich and it also was incredible. They also have video poker and pool tables. Check it out!!

Probably the worst dive bar I’ve ever been too. Food was horrible. Beer was horrible. Settled for a white claw. Server was nice and atmosphere was as expected. “Clean” glasses on the ground in the cooler and all the beer was flat, with noticeably dirty lines.

First time there. Had the philly and a pendleton with coke.. Everything was good. The gentleman working was friendly and polite. Would go back again. Parking the only problem limited..

This is very much a neighborhood joint. It's even named after the neighborhood. The Ale House has an excellent beer selection with good food at good prices.

I visited for the first time during Portland Mercury's Wing Week 2021, to try the Bikini Bottom Wings (pictured). They were good! Baked in a pineapple marinade, flash fried, tossed in a poke sauce, and topped with cilantro. Unless you specifically choose to eat any slices of raw jalapeno, in my opinion, they are actually only mildly spicy, but are lightly sweet and maybe just a hint salty from the pineapple and poke sauce. The service was excellent; friendly, professional, prompt, and accommodating. The Ale House was fairly busy, when I was there, around 5pm, but the short line ahead of me was served, efficiently. I really liked the music that was playing - kind of mellow, electronic alternative. "Up On Melancholy Hill" by The Gorillaz, is an example. Just a very pleasant, chill vibe. Nice.
