I made the mistake of spending $6,800 on a "brand new" Rasson Accura 7' pool table from Austin Billiards. What I received was an absolute insult. The table arrived riddled with chips around the edges—so much for "new." The ball return mechanism? Held together with zip ties. You read that correctly. Nearly seven thousand dollars, and they couldn't be bothered with proper hardware. But the crown jewel of incompetence? One of the plates was installed with a razor-sharp edge on the playing surface—a genuine safety hazard that could slice open anyone's hand. I contacted Jim Teggeman immediately. What followed was a masterclass in how to treat paying customers like an inconvenience. Multiple trips to their store. Endless empty promises that someone would "come out and fix it." Each visit, I was met with the same dismissive attitude—as if I were the problem for expecting a functional, undamaged product. It's now been over a month. Not a single issue has been addressed. Not one. This company took my money, delivered garbage, and then couldn't even be bothered to fake concern. Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the thousands of dollars. Avoid Austin Billiards at all costs.

I visited Austin Billiards last week, where I spent less than $30 on some darts gear. On the way out, my car wouldn’t start. The Austin Billiards team jumped into action, helped push my car around the lot, pulled their truck up and attempted to jump my car, and then let me leave the dead car in their lot for two days while I scheduled a tow. Professional, neighborly, and kind! Thanks Madi, Jim, and Jim (there’s two of them!) for all your help. It was much appreciated!

Amazing job recovering my Dad's table. Highly professional and affordable. Would recommend everytime. In and out in about 2 hours. Everyone is extremely pleased with the service.

I've been coming here for what feels like my whole life, and I'm always treated like family! I felt like their old location on Anderson Ln was more centrally located, but I'll drive out of my way anytime to go see Jim and the rest of the amazing crew at Austin Billiards!!
