Brewvies is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely down to earth, which makes the whole visit feel welcoming from start to finish. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, and the theater seating is cozy and comfortable without feeling cramped. For beer lovers, the deals are hard to beat, and the overall ambiance just adds to the charm. This place is a real gem in Salt Lake City—I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

My husband and I have been coming to Brewvies Cinema Pub one to two times a week for the past 3½ years—ever since we met in 2022—and it has truly become our favorite date spot. This place feels like home to us.
Over the years, we’ve built great friendships with Jesse, Tay, and so many others who help run Brewvies, and that’s a huge part of what makes it so special. It’s not just a place to watch a movie—it’s a place to connect, unwind, and create memories.
Whether you get lucky and have a theater all to yourself or end up in a packed room full of people laughing and having a great time, the atmosphere is always unbeatable. You can grab a drink, enjoy great food, and just relax with great company.
What really sets Brewvies apart is how much effort they put into making it feel welcoming and fun—like your favorite local bar, but with movies. It’s been the start of our relationship and now a tradition in our marriage.
We’ve celebrated so many moments here with friends, including throwing a surprise birthday party for my husband that turned out amazing. If you haven’t been yet, we highly recommend it—you’re missing out on something really special.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at an establishment like this. The whole place gave off an unprepared, unsanitary, and just plain gross vibe from the moment we walked in.
Doors opened at 11:30 and the show started at 12:00, yet somehow they were already out of one of their five brunch items—the most popular one: biscuits and gravy. How do you open for brunch already missing a main item? To make it worse, they wouldn’t let you order simple things off the regular menu if they didn’t have the brunch option you wanted.
It didn’t stop there. They have a popcorn machine, and even that didn’t have enough popcorn ready a full half hour after opening. It felt like they weren’t prepared for customers at all.
Then came the real ‘ick’ factor: there was a broken shot glass on the floor that looked like it had been there since the night before. That alone made me question how well this place is cleaned. And when I went to wash my hands in the restroom, the soap was in a random squirt bottle. Nothing about that felt sanitary or professional.
Overall the whole experience felt disorganized, dirty, and poorly managed. Definitely not somewhere I’d return.

This place rocks! It's the coolest place with an awesome atmosphere. Great drinks at great prices. The movies are stellar, especially their Wednesday night movies and Movie Buff Night. The bartenders are the most rad. Jesse, Cuz, and Tay are the best people on the planet and it's always a pleasure to see them. THIS PLACE RULES!!!! I can't recommend it highly enough. Ya gotta go!!!

Love this place. Used to host a lot of ski film events here. Its "rustic" in all the good ways.
