Sapphire Billiard Club

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. i met with the owner to discuss a serving job or a possible chef position. first of all, he made me give him good reviews on google and yelp before he said he would consider hiring me. then out of the blue, he asks me to come in and work security on a saturday night. mind you, this place has been shut down 3 times for gang activity. i worked all night til closing. he ends up paying me $7 an hour, less than half what the male security guards were making. plus the security guards were GROPING MULTIPLE women, not staying at the door, leaving me alone to do security for my first time. so when i text the owner the next day to coordinate a food tasting, he ignores me for days and finally texts back and says he's deciding against me and is blocking my number. THIS IS A TRUCK STOP AT BEST. the kitchen was in awful shape. there was no manager. this venue WILL CHARGE YOU A COVER EVEN IF YOU BOOK AN EVENT. will be taking my business elsewhere.

My cousin booked a birthday party here. She was told she was going to have a private bar and bartender, which she didn't receive. So there was two private parties that night and there was only one bartender for the night. They had a security guard that shows up an hour after the start of our party saying she had to be escorted out to her car with her cake knife because knives weren't allowed in the space. He didn't introduce himself or anything just came in going through our stuff and being very rude. We had reserved 2 pool tables closest to the door which was by our party and our food. We all had wristbands for our party. At 2 and half hours we weren't allowed to walk through the door to our party because someone from another party "may" decide to walk through. We didn't complain about this being a problem and why make us walk all the way to the front of the facility and around just to go 10 feet from where we were. Extremely not customer orientated. I will most likely not return to such a a bad place.

It was quite enjoyable when I went. Much larger than it appears from outside, with multiple rooms/areas to explore. Nice pool tables in the billiard room that also has an additional bar. Prices were also reasonable. Patio area outside for smoking or relaxing in warmer temperatures with very comfortable seating and tables. Nice ambiance and kind staff as well.

I went to the club for my friend Jaquan Birthday. This place is wonderful. So Elegant and Clean. I love to try different cocktails. Bar tender made me Washington Apple one. It was so good…and it was only $8.00 I will be back

My coworker and friends stopped there last Saturday to have dinner, and you walk in , there's no one to greet you. Place is dark, finally a man appeared and really didn't want to be bothered, said it's a night club and the kitchen is not open. I won't be back....ever.
