Nice & Easy

This bar is very cool. Not a trendy or bougie DC bar (nothing wrong with that btw) but was def the vibe I was looking for, for a dive, chill type spot. Junior is a kind and helpful bartender. Decent prices for sure for a DC bar, my drinks avg 10/15.

This hole in the wall bar was the perfect local dive given I was in Noma. Good drinks and happy hour coupled with food from three separate locals next door!

The chicken dumplings were amazing! They didn’t come with the soy sauce/chili sauce as offered on the menu. The beer was great, a nice addition to the metropolitan beer trail. The bathroom was awful (as with most bars), but the septic tank had a taped over lid which was off putting. The bartenders were nice :)

I love this place. Great food and decently priced drinks. I would come here a lot more if I didn’t have to brace for impact. For a place called “nice and easy” with dive bar vibes, they play their music at more than club volume. I can barely hear myself think much less talk to the person next to me without having to raise my voice. Maybe I’m just getting old but I wish they would turn down the music 3 notches.

Love Nice & Easy as well as Chef Bernard's Chop Shop next door that provides KILLER BBQ! If I lived in DC I'd be here all the time - great services, a chill atmosphere for pool, music, and food - but everyone is so approachable. Highly recommend
