On Saturday, June 29, my friend attended a pool party at Sunburn Pool Lounge of The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Just as many men were doing, taking their shirts off (at a POOL!), my friend did the same. Some people were shocked, but no one was repulsed and went back to dancing and having fun. Minutes later, 2 female staff asked my friend to leave or put a shirt back on. My friend expressed that she believes she has the same rights as men and that she wasn’t harming anyone and just wanted to dance and enjoy the party like everyone else. The staff scoffed and told my friend they were calling the cops. My friend replied, “go ahead,” and kept dancing. Then 3 male security guards approached and forcibly grabbed my friend, trying to pull her from out of the crowd. She asked for them to please not touch her and pulled away. That was when she was TACKLED to the ground!!! My friend is very petite and could not defend herself against 3 larger men, 2 of which were about 3 times her size and crushed her into the ground with with all their body weight!!! They tightly slapped handcuffs on her wrists behind her back. She was then taken to a holding cell in the basement of the Hard Rock Hotel where
