Corner Pocket Bakersfield

This place is good because there are always tables open to play. Unfortunately it seems like the hours on the Google Listing are incorrect. Came in on a Saturday night at about midnight (Google showed they closed at 2:00am). Got a table and a pitcher of beer and by 12:30 the female bartender was shouting for last call. We were a bit confused but didn’t question it. By 12:50 she called for end game as they were closing up at 1:00am. Had a group of friends that were going to meet us up but instead we just told them not to come by. The bathroom in the mens room was very very dirty. You are also not allowed to use any regulation tables even for an extra fee unless you are a league player. We would’ve paid extra as we noticed they were all empty but were still not allowed. Place has potential but it should really be updated online to not confuse future first timers. They also closed at 1:00am on Fridays also.

Corner Pocket was an amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and the food was fresh and made to order. I will definitely be going back again.

Excellent tables and friendly staff made my stay very enjoyable. I got there early before it started getting crowded. Awesome place to play in Bakersfield!

The first time I came here was for a tournament and the owner greeted me with a smile and hand shake. He was very knowledgeable about the billiard world. All the staff was friendly and nice and I had the best cheeseburger I ever ate in a pool hall. This is a pool players pool hall and it is maintained very well. The room is also very clean and all the tables are well kept. There are alot of high end pool tables like Predator and Diamond. I didn't mind the 125-mile drive since the atmosphere was positive and everyone was here to play pool and have a good time. If I didn't live so far I would be here every day.

Good spot to put balls in a holes with your stick, the food, the drinks, n the staff are all an awesome experience.
