Soi 24 pool hall

Came in wanting to support local businesses. In woodland park a lot of local food places are closed…They told me they only except cash for payment for food and beverages. Now I might be wrong, however, it’s the year 2026, I’ve bartended and been in the service industry for 9 years…and I have never been to an establishment that didn’t except money for business either it being debit or credit card…it is expensive to buy a POS to run card transactions..but I feel like that’s standard business practice for this day and age..I’m sure they just didn’t like me..they had a cute black dog though and was excited to see me which was sweet.

Went for the Avalanche playoff game and the atmosphere was awesome! Owners were amazing and treated us like regulars even though we are out of towners. 10/10 experience and order the pizza when available!

The staff were extremely rude as soon as we walked in the door. They acted like we didn’t belong there, My friend and I grew up in WP and just wanted to check out a new spot, but def won’t be going back due to the rude attitude of the staff

Super friendly bartender and regulars at the bar, free tables were small but in good condition! A fun place to stop, grab a drink and play a few games while visiting!

Its called Jess's Place now but is a great place for booze and fun.
