I had not heard of Breadsoda before yesterday but my friend wanted to play pool so suggested this place (he had never been either so were both going in with no expectations). I got there a bit earlier than him to get a lay of the land and order some food and drinks and just chill. The reuben sandwich was ridiculously good. The drink selection was impressive too. I ended up chatting with a few of the staff, Eli and Brent (Brett?). They were friendly and really seemed to enjoy working here. Eli said he even hangs out at Breadsoda when not working, so I think that speaks highly to the kind of place it is. I was only there a few hours but I think I was picking up on that chill community vibe too. I'm a bit of a ways out so it can't be a regular hang out for me, but I'll be by again for sure.
The hourly rate for pool was super fair ($11/hr for 2 people, $6/hr for a single person). Nice table. I snagged a table around 7:30 which was good because it got a lot more packed around 8-8:30 (this was a Saturday for the record), so you might end up waiting upwards of an hour depending on your arrival (around 8:15ish, one of the staff told us there was a waitlist now, so we would have to wind do

11/10 place. Parking available for very cheap all around. Drinks and selection is fantastic. Labeled vegetarian/vegan items and options. Amazing atmosphere. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly. Trivia, ping pong, shuffleboard, and darts available. Outside seating and a few great places to snap photos.

The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful. Drinks are strong but delicious. Quac goes crazy. It can get a little loud but doesn't ever seem to last and it has a perfect outdoor area to escape. 10/10

Great place for a quick bite to eat with some great conversation or billiards. They have pool tables, shuffle board, and a small selection of board games.
I recommend bringing some playing cards and going for their happy hour, which includes $4 cocktails and a food item (depends on the day).
Ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich and the BBQ sandwich and highly recommend both. Great for an inexpensive date night, though be aware this is near Georgetown University so there will likely be a number of college students.
