My son is away from home for the first time and recently expressed interest in taking up pool with his roommates. Thinking I would take him shopping and surprise him with a new cue while in town I asked if he had done any research on the local businesses; to my delight I was informed that he had already found Billiards of Idaho and that’s where he wanted to go. CarlaJean and Jeff were both so patient and accommodating to us answering all of our questions and allowing my son to try out several cues assuring that he was getting a cue that he could use for the rest of his life. I was so impressed by the level of knowledge and professionalism that I decided to get lessons for him with CarlaJean. To say that my son has gotten better would be a massive understatement, his improved skill level and knowledge of the sport is beyond impressive, CarlaJean and Billiards of Idaho is the only place I will shop in the future!

First class all the way! We bought a pool table with a ping pong top along with all the standard pool accessories (cues, balls, rack etc.). CarlaJean and Jeff were really helpful in getting us what we needed without being pushy. They have a great selection of items and we had no problem finding the perfect stuff. They're very responsive to requests, knowledgeable and professional. Installation of the table went faster than expected and they did an outstanding job. The table looks beautiful and plays even better. We are totally satisfied, reccomend them without hestiation and look forward to future purchases.

Coming in to play regularly from the Seattle area, there are only a few billiards supply type places in the valley on offer when you need something; most of their (all other places) offerings as an aside (few cues available, mostly breakers or house sticks). The only place that really had selection and someone who has spent their life focused on the craft is CarlaJean at Billiards of Idaho. I've stopped in here three times over the last two years, CarlaJean and her husband were super helpful finding a cue for my dad when I was in town to play with him. Saw a handful of shafts that had just been retipped waiting to be picked up, and the work was so clean on my third stop in I left one of my oldest and most reliable shafts to be retipped. The tip work is done by someone outside the shop, but having seen the finished work on many others, it is clear CarlaJean settles for nothing short of excellence in her shop. Will do business here again, and again, and again.

Really excellent selection and customer service. The owner was super patient with me as I had a lot of questions. I ended up getting the perfect pool cue; I’d highly recommend going here instead of Big 5 or Walmart.
