Side Pockets Lenexa

Very laid back pool hall with lots of different ages playing. It can take a bit to get a table on some nights because leagues run most evenings. Usually at least 2 tables are available to walk-ins. Food is decent bar fare. $0.75 tables unless you play on a premium Diamond table and it's $1.00. Decor could use an update, especially the carpets. Plenty of TVs to watch a game.

Horrible service. I work closed to the bar and was having a bad day so wanted somewhere fun to have a drink and maybe socialize. I walked up to the bar and waited for the guy behind the bar to greet me. I waited over 5 minutes so I had a seat. A lady walks up next to me to try to get his attention, so I nicely told her I was also trying to get his attention because I thought she was a customer. She rolled her eyes at me and said “I work here” and I was like, ok? I’m waiting for my order to be taken. And she just walked away. The guy behind the bar finally asked me what I wanted and I asked if I could speak to a manager. He said he was the manager and met me with the same attitude. I left and will never come back, I like Main Event for nice service and cheap pool.

T was an amazing waitress. So fun and energetic. She gave great suggestions and took great care of us the entire time we were there. That girl deserves a raise! Thank you T for for amazing service and fun personality. Please make sure she sees or hears this. Food was also fantastic especially the loaded fries! We will absolutely be back to side pockets lenexa!

Decent bar food. Potato skins have been gone for about 2 years Darts and tables are good. Service was good, except for 1 short server.

If Steven isn’t your server…sorry for your loss. He’s the best! The manager is also on point! Handled the entire evening beautifully. There was drama, which is not normal, but manager handled the situation with class. We won’t play pool anywhere else. All the servers are amazing and management wants everyone to enjoy their time. Zero complaints.
