Main Street Billiards

Got a pool table and was only waited on once in two hours of play after having to track down a waitress in a different section. Not being served totally killed the fun, so we left and they couldn't track down our waitress or the card I used to open a tab. Finally found her and had an attitude towards my displeasure, then proceeded to make an audible remark on my zero dollar tip I left for not being served. I've really enjoyed this place before, never had any issue, and was planning on spending a lot of money tonight on our groups food and drinks. Now I'm inclined to never come back.

I had a very frustrating experience here Monday Night. While seated in the pool area, my boyfriend and I were ignored by an African-American woman server despite being clearly visible and given a pool table by her. We were waiting for a significant amount of time. What was especially disappointing was seeing a couple seated right next to us receive immediate service while we continued to be ignored by her. As we were not acknowledged we left. This level of service is unacceptable and made us feel unwelcome. I understand that things can get busy, but if the area becomes difficult for that particular server maybe she should find another place that is more suitable for her pace. This level of inconsistency is unacceptable. If a server is unable to manage their section or provide basic attention to all guests, that’s a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Customers should not feel overlooked or ignored. This reflects poorly on the establishment and needs immediate attention. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses this server.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. We walked into the bar and the bouncer immediately confiscated my girlfriend’s ID because it was out of state. We are both 25+, and he repeatedly insisted he was “good at his job” and was certain it was fake. He refused to return the ID and told us we would need to call the police to get it back. Despite our efforts to calmly explain, he doubled down and became increasingly dismissive. It honestly felt like a power trip. I’m not sure if bias played a role, but the situation was handled poorly and unnecessarily escalated. In the end, the police were called and verified that the ID was completely legitimate. The entire situation was embarrassing and avoidable. No guest should have to jump through hoops or involve law enforcement just to retrieve a valid ID. It’s disappointing that a business would allow this kind of behavior at the door. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend this place. Valentine’s Day ruined cause of poor management of this establishment. Luckily most of the situation was recorded.

I have been coming here since my college days with my best friend and last night we went to celebrate my birthday. Food was ok but it was pretty crowded. we were walking back to the group after a dance or two on the dance floor and saw her brother with security guards getting kicked out. They were unprofessional once words were exchanged (obviously he was drinking but not bad enough to where he can’t even stand or form a sentence) and he was cooperating. But once words were exchanged the security exchanged them back, we walked to the front and that’s when they put hands on her brother AS WELL as my girl best friend. I’m still not even sure on why he got kicked out but I’ve known him for years and know when he is at his limit and he was not there AT ALL. (Our whole party got kicked out and I still had my stuff with my fiance and other friends with no phone walking around outside in the 5 degree weather) I will never be coming back here and even after the years I’ve spend here enjoying it this will be my last. Do better.

We’re at Mainstreet Billiards more than we should be but honestly I’m not mad about it. The vibes are always right, the food hits and the tables are solid every time. But what really keeps us coming back is the service. Mona and Sheila are EVERYTHING!!! So kind, so attentive and always making sure we’re taken care of. It just feels good being there. If you need a go-to spot for drinks, billiards or just a good time… this is it every time.
