Slate Street Billiards

Had a great experience here while hosting my father’s celebration of life. We came in with a large party of around 20–30 people, and everything was handled really well. They reserved a section with tables for our group which made it easy for everyone to gather, talk, and spend time together. The food was served buffet-style and was excellent—especially the wings, nachos, and potato skins. Everything was fresh and there was plenty for everyone. The service was excellent and the staff did a great job accommodating such a big group during such an important day for our family. Prices were very affordable as well. We really appreciate the kindness and support, and it ended up being a comfortable place for everyone to celebrate my father’s life together.

Slate Street Billiards is hands down one of the best places to hang out around town. The drinks are always well priced, there’s usually a table available to play even on league nights, though you might have to wait a little bit sometimes because it’s that popular. The staff is awesome across the board and the atmosphere honestly feels like Cheers… everybody knows your name and makes you feel welcome. Definitely worth the trip and a great place to relax, shoot pool, and meet some really great people!

Danielle, the sweetest server I’ve encountered. She’s been so nice and check on us frequently. She clarified some questions I had and I couldn’t be more happy. Overall she made this experience great for my group and we are excited to come back!!

I like to hang out here playing pool. They just need to hire a couple of waitresses, especially on busy days. If the waitresses who are already there were more friendly, the place would be good if the service were good.
