Really solid spot to grab a drink. Good atmosphere, music was right, and overall just a chill place to hang out. Shoutout to the bartender Blue. Super friendly, quick with drinks, and everything was made really well. You can tell they know what they’re doing and keep things running smooth even when it gets busy. Definitely coming back! Hell of a good time! Update, met a new bartender there named Emily, shes amazing! Fast and attentive

now as a fellow service provider i would never leave a review unless i felt like a) the service deserved positive recognition or b) complete and utter horror. i have considered NOT posting this review for months now and i feel it is important for the safety of women attending this bar. one specific bartender ruined this entire bar for me. i have been verbally assaulted at this bar so many times i should have never come back but the female bartender was constantly reassuring me she wanted more women in the bar point blank. she would verbalize wanting to make the space safer and fun for women but REPEATEDLY protected and justified the behavior of dangerous and problematic men UNTIL it affected her earnings. she had no problem chasing a male friend of mine down and hounding him over a tip (she thought she should get more, our drinks took forever and we all tipped at least 10%) while men who fill her pockets are allowed to be racists, handsy or homophobic or just plane MEAN and CREEPY. i will not be stating the name of this bartender, tho i owe her nothing I PERSONALLY VALUE PROTECTING WOMEN. whether they deserve it or not. but if you and your wife/sister/mother/girlfriends want a n

Over the last 2 years I have seen a terrible decline at the water hole. The food is comparable to an elementary school lunch. The atmosphere has for the most part been the same for the 7 years I’ve been coming here. The service is the worst. Blue is rude. She will ignore you, roll her eyes at you, and talk trash about the other patrons at the bar. I’ve seen her more than once do multiple shots on her shift. Sometimes it can take upwards of 20 mins to get a beer. Josey isn’t any better her management style is lacking professionalism. She will stand and talk to people while looking at a line forming at the bar. She gives special treatment to some of the pool players and it is very obvious. This use to be such a fun place to visit and play pool and hangout with friends now it’s just falling apart.

Blue is the best bartender to exists give her a raise immediately. Keeps this place spotlessly clean.

This bar has showed me over and over and over that they allow problematic and toxic people to stay in their bar and when someone gets harmed verbally or physically and say something about it the employees do absolutely nothing to protect the people who get hurt and ask the victims to leave. I've only went here as much as I have because my friends like this bar, despite me hating this place. But after hearing so many stories about people getting hurt at this bar, myself included, I'm happily never going back. Waterhole, stop protecting disgusting, nasty people.
