I'm picky when it comes to fish fry and this place has me coming back over and over. I dine here for lunch and have not faced any crowds.
My opinion is breaded fish is better than battered and this place kills it ! Love the breading on all their fish. I have enjoyed the cod, walleye, blue gill and perch - fantastic.
Fries are great along with the tarter and slaw.
You're my go to, thank you.

Amazing food. Talented cook and attentive and pleasant bartender. Will be back. IPA's on tap was a bonus.

Best fish fry I have ever had. The seasoning is out of this world delicious. Love the atmosphere too - nostalgic classic pool hall.

WARNING *** NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY
I had a very disappointing experience at Cue Club in Waukesha. Service took an unusually long time just to close me out. Seconds before stepping into the restroom, I spoke directly with the owner, who was aware of the situation and smiled during the interaction.
While I was in the restroom, the owner personally poured out our group pitcher of beer after we had already paid for it. My 15-year-old son witnessed this, which made the situation especially uncomfortable.
Around 9:00 PM, I informed the bartender about the situation regarding feeding my son, and all was well. I also ordered my meal at that time. We had permission to finish our pool game and my son’s meal, which arrived late around 10:15 PM, but the situation still escalated.
When I returned, the owner reacted very differently — he threatened to call the police and said he didn’t want to embarrass me in front of my child, despite the fact that we were actively trying to leave. The staff appeared disorganized, which added to the confusion and delayed resolution. Based on this experience, it seems the owner lacks awareness of or sensitivity toward families.
