I highly recommend working with Midwest Billiards, Inc. for their professionalism, quick response times, and expert knowledge of their product. When we moved into our house, it came with a beautiful pool table that we initially thought we would love to use, but over time, we realized we wanted to free up some space. We knew that we would need to hire movers to move the table and hoped to recoup some of that cost. Working with Midwest Billiards, Inc, they not only carefully and professionally moved our pool table, but were able to provide some resale value for the table. We were so impressed with how quickly they were able to move the table and pleased that this beautiful pool table will have a new life in someone else's home.

Our experience was wonderful! We've been wanting to buy a pool table for quite some time and found a beautiful used table at a great price. The owner, John, is great to work with and provides excellent customer service. The installers were very professional and did a meticulous job. Also, we were impressed with the wide selection for any price range.

My family and I stopped in to look at used pool tables. We met with John the now former owner of the business. Eventually we struck a deal on a 7' used table. We were able to see this table at the store and John made a point to roll a cue ball around the table demonstrating what appeared to be new rubber that was installed in the rails.
Fast forward to when we were scheduled to have the table installed. I was called by John and told they no longer could sell me the table that we saw in the store but they have an identical table for me that is getting ready to move and can move right into my home.
Delivery day comes and I took a half day from work to hopefully ensure everything is placed where my wife and I decided we wanted it. The installers did a good job with leveling the table and were polite and professional. I also received a used set of billiard balls, a rack with some pilot holes drilled into it, a bridge that is made for humans less than 10 years old, and some entry level cues. So I drove to another billiard store and spent a fair amount of money on new cues, a new set of billiard balls, and a piece of furniture to hold all the accessories.

I bought a very nice, used, pool table from Midwest Billiards at a very reasonable price. The owner let me choose whatever felt I wanted and even let me choose the much more expensive worsted wool cloth. The table purchase even included setup. The setup guys were AMAZING. They knew there stuff and got the table set PERFECT. They worked efficiently and had no problem with me watching. I typically do EVERYTHING myself but this is NOT something to attempt yourself folks. These guys are pros!! After everything was finished the owner called me personally to make sure I was pleased! Very very happy with the whole experience.

TL;DR: they are good at moving pool tables but do not appear to be organized. So when you get an appt, make sure to verify the appt a few days before.
Longer version: Similar experiences to others who rated it low. Our appointment time came and no one showed. When I called, I spoke with the owner who apologized but really didn't seem sincere and didn't offer to make up for it in any way. He did end up throwing in a pool stick after asking multiple times if there was anything he could do. We ended up having to reschedule so I wasted a vacation day. Not worth the pool stick.
The second appointment went well. The people who came were professional and very fast.
