Stix Billiards and Lounge
Very pleasantly surprised!
It’s located about a mile North of the Tennessee Tech basketball arena.
They’ve completely remodeled the inside to a very clean open atmosphere. It was reopened as a non-smoking facility but has a large outside patio to still be be able to accommodate smokers.
I had been hearing good thing about their cheesesteak and It certainly did not disappoint. Absolutely no shortage of meat on this cheesesteak. In fact it was so large we split it so the pictures I post are for half a sandwich. Found it to be juicy not dry with no gristle. They don’t buy they usually frozen pre sliced cheese steak from the food suppliers. They actually slice the steak themselves.
The flavor was Outstanding, and I don’t think you’re gonna find a better cheesesteak in the state I attribute this to at least one of the owners coming from where they know how to make cheesesteak.
The staff we encounter were friendly and accommodating.
Actually anxious to please. Thank you Holly. Even the cook came out to make sure how we wanted out order. Unfortunately, I didn’t get one of the owners name but he made sure we were taken care of well.
Will be returning soon

I recently visited Stix Billiards and Lounge and was thoroughly impressed. The staff provided warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly service throughout our visit.
The full bar offers an excellent selection of drinks, and the food is flavorful, and well-prepared—ideal for pairing with a game. The pool tables are in great condition, with smooth felt, level playing surfaces, and high-quality cues.
The atmosphere is relaxed yet engaging, making it an outstanding venue for a casual evening out. I highly recommend Stix Billiards and Lounge and look forward to returning.

Stopped by last night to check this place out. So glad I did!!
Smoke free! Great food! New tables! Friendly staff! Great prices!
We were greeted by the owner and he treated us like buddies!
Alot of great food options. We had the Home Run Fries, SO good and only $5!
They checked on us often and offered us refills.
Love that this place is non smoking. Everything is very clean and they are still expanding.
I can't wait to go back!!!

Clean bar, nonsmoking, nice tables, good prices on food and drinks. The Philly, fries, and wings were all really good. Great service from the bar tenders and kitchen! Nicely redone by the new owners.

So disappointed. I was so excited to visit this place since kids are allowed. I did not feel welcome in the slightest. We did not get greeted when we came in. We had to walk all the way to the bar to be greeted by a bigger man sitting in a stool talking to a regular. He never offered us prices or any kind of refreshment. I had to ask about prices and it was very obvious we were being discouraged from being there. We only have a 3 year old. Shes pretty mellow so its not like we came in there with a screaming spoiled kid or something. He told us $30 for the day. No hourly rates or per game rates. He said it was too hard to monitor. There were 2 or 3 single men in there playing solo games. We did not feel welcome so we left and clearly its what this big guy you got working for you wanted. My advice is to get rid of that guy. He cost you $30 plus what we would have spent on drinks. He also said that karaoke wont be returning because there isnt any money in it and brings wrong crowd. LOL Im pretty sure alcohol brings in "wrong crowd" not karaoke. Haha!!! One time a craft beer place told me pool tables bring in a wrong crowd. Imagine that. I disagree with all those opinions.
