I meant to write this all a few months ago, but better late than never! My family was looking to purchase a used pool table and had seen all sorts of offers on facebook marketplace and such but we were always hesitant. Like cars, you never truly know the history and we were worried we would end up with something we regretted. We originally came to Triangle Billiards to educate ourselves on buying used. Charlene helped us out and explained what could be wrong with used tables (broken slate), as well as what to look for in tables (the felt and stiffness of the bumpers). She showed us some of the used tables they have, but none really caught our eye. She talked about the benefits of new and the wide price ranges of models, and with a few descriptions from my dad and I about price range, size, and style, she even gave us some recommendations. I quickly fell in love with a specific Plank and Hide table that I will get back to later. We checked out other pool table stores and tried to do some home research, as well as getting mom's approval on what colors and styles would look nice. I just purchased my first stick from Triangle Billards and Charlene could not have been any more perfect. She was patient and helped me pick out a beautiful stick. They have so many great gadgets for new players and old ones as well. You can definitely walk out with everything you need and more! Triangle Billiards is awesome to work with... Dan is excellent with customer service and kindly orchestrated the refurbishment of our pool table. Paul and Aaron were definite craftsmen in restoring the original 8-year-old pool table (leveling the slate, new pockets and new felt). As you can see from the pictures, the Championship Blue felt makes the table looks brand new. Leva was a great resource in providing the purchasing invoices for payment. We hired DK Billiards to move an antique pool table built in the 1800’s. This table is in excellent condition and it was important to find an experienced professional to get it right.
