Billy Joe's Pool Room

Absolutely wonderful bartenders with a very friendly crowd. This is a beer only bar so don't expect to get a margarita or any other mixed drinks. They do allow smoking inside so keep that in mind before going. The weekend I went they even had a pot luck dinner being served to any customer. Pool tables are in the back room for those who enjoy playing.

Pretty much a locals only spot, which I love! Hole in the wall bars are my fave. The pool tournaments are fun, if you don't take it too seriously. And karaoke on Fridays is always a blast!

Great atmosphere and friendly people. We were looking for somwhere to sing karaoke on a Friday night and they welcomed us with open arms. Initially, we were hesitant to enter because the environment was different than what we're used to but everyone treated us great and we had an AMAZING time! If you're looking for Friday night karaoke, you will enjoy Billy Joe's Pool Room.

Everything you should want and actually need in a bar. Good times. As seen in the picture they have senior citizen specials. Not a discount, just special senior citizens. This continues to be the quintessential dive bar.

Billy Joe's, while providing a decent karaoke experience on Friday evenings, is somewhat sullied by the actions of those incapable of acting as good humans under the influence of alcohol. My experiences over the past three visits have resulted as thus: my first visit in months, I attempted to get an acquaintance out of the building to deescalate a misunderstanding was assaulted over my shoulder. Thankfully he didn't press charges. The second visit, I was harangued by an intoxicated female who berated me for singing a song as she sang it. Apparently, and this keeps the review at three stars, a bouncer was present the last time I visited. It left a good impression on an otherwise sullied experience. I do give kudos to a bartender that stopped me in a different location to suggest I return. The reality is that my presence will be sporadic, if at all, in the future.
