I’ve gone here a few times and absolutely loved it! But this last time I went, I will never go again. I of course provided my id and the bartender told me it was a fake. (Mind you I have a Texas id because I travel for work and my address is in Mississippi and I stay in Louisiana atm) I asked how my id was fake and she processed to say it was missing the hologram and bent my card saying it was flimsy which then concluded to her it was fake. I told her it wasn’t and even searched for items with my birth day on it. I had to shine my phone light on my id in her face for her to finally ask what I wanted. “It’s insane to know I was never born”. I ordered my drink, tipped her $7, then left. Simply because it’s the last of my money they’ll ever get. Absolutely ridiculous. I suggest better lighting over the bar or bartenders who know how to check an id.

Busy bar in the middle of nowhere. Good vibe and friendly people. However, charging a $10 cover was a bit unexpected for this type of place. It’s nothing I would pay to get into again.

Decent-enough spot I guess...but the $10 per head cover charge last night was a turn-off... especially considering my dad and I arrived there pretty early (9:15PM)

The bar service is impeccable. Cool vibe and a good place to catch a show or play pool.

The establishment’s eccentric proprietor, colloquially known as “Crazy Dave,” offers an ambiance that is equal parts tropical lounge and backyard defense against the undead. Food — ★★★★☆ (4/5) The food was surprisingly good. The “Kernel-Popcorn Shrimp” arrived crisp and buttery, while the “Chili Bean Nachos” were explosively flavorful — quite literally, as one patron’s plate seemed to detonate upon contact with a stray cue ball. The “Wall-nut Sliders” provided a sturdy, satisfying bite, though the “Iceberg Lettuce Wraps” could have used a bit more freeze resistance. Service — ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Regrettably, communication with the host proved… challenging. When asked about the specials, Crazy Dave launched into an enthusiastic monologue consisting mostly of “Wabby wabbo!” and “BRAIIIINZZ discount before 5 PM!” Despite his clear passion, his speech patterns rendered the ordering process something of a tower-defense challenge in its own right. Atmosphere — ★★★☆☆ (3/5) The decor is delightfully verdant. Plants of every species line the billiard tables — peashooters in the corners, sunflowers providing gentle illu
