$5 per hour for a table is very reasonable - $5 *per person* per hour for a table is outrageous. This is the only pool hall I have ever been to that charges like that.
Don't get me wrong - the atmosphere is excellent, the tables are nice, the beer selection is *eh* but it's beer and it is being served by outstanding staff - but those are the only reasons for the extra two stars. If you're gonna go out by yourself, have a couple beers and practice your shooting, this is definitely your place. If you wanna go out with some friends to shoot some pool though, your wallet will be infinitely happier if you go literally anywhere else. The table quality is just not worth the ridiculous pricing if you're with a group, any old bar that has a table with quarter slots would do just fine. Beats the heck out of $40 for 2 hours of pool on a single table.

One of my absolute favorite places to go. Staff is awesome and very friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. As a African American woman, I feel safe going there and shooting pool with or without anyone else. I try to go as often as I can.
