Staff is so rude if you’re not a regular. Definitely homophobic. Not a safe space. There are so many better options to play pool in this city. Disgusting behavior overall. Jeff was the man who made us the most uncomfortable, murmuring some really rude things to us as he forced us out into the cold when our Uber driver was two minutes away and there were still multiple pool games in progress.

First visit and was impressed. Bar service was good. Many pool tables in different sizes. Plenty of seating near pool tables. Wasn't too loud, we could easily carry a conversation.

I calmy told the bartender at the time "Maggie" about the issue and she took the time to understand my situation in which I was not comfortable in and made the effort to make me feel safe and comfortable in Matchups.
