Spanky's Place Taproom and Billiards

My husband and I had a great time here! We went on bingo night and it was fun! They have beer on tap but they also have some non alcoholic selections which was perfect for my husband who doesn’t drink. I love that they have pool tables, darts, and board games for entertainment. AND you can order food from any of the restaurants in the hub and they will walk it to your table! 10/10 recommend!

Let me first say that the place is very nice, beer selection is great, and bar staff was very friendly. The place is set up with video games and pool tables which is awesome. But it seems very apparent that the owner does not like kids. My 13 son was not allowed to play on the pool table even if I was playing with him and they told us our kids could not bring the building after 7pm. There were about 12 total people in the entire place including the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children). We had one beer each and left and went down the street to Escape Brewery which is AMAZING and very kid/ family friendly. Even the staff felt bad telling us our kids couldn’t be inside. We will not be going back here. Not a wise business practice in this area where there are so many other family friendly brewery options. Don’t see this place lasting long.

Great spot for a cold beers and fun games!!! The bartenders are so friendly and welcoming. Love the location, easy to get to and so many fun food options in the Hub!! Can’t wait to come back.

Beer selection hit the spot, the young lady bartender asked whether Pinot Grigio was a red or white wine. Arcade games are great looking (through the window) for kids after 7 PM. Bexley is a neighborhood of people with young kids, where parents can make to the Hub at least after 6 PM on weekdays and Fridays. So Spanky keep your attitude in responding to the reviews and enjoy the high rent!

Such a fun spot! Great mix of domestic and craft beers, and the atmosphere is awesome — super relaxed but still lively. Love that you can just tap your card to play the games. Ended up staying way longer than planned — can’t wait to go back!
