Good Tymes Bar & Billiards

This is a great place with friendly welcoming people. I had a good time here and got to know the family a little bit. Good down to earth people with a great new bar and grill! The beer is very reasonably priced and there are a few pool tables to shoot some pool. This place has a lot to offer and has a ton of potential. I look forward to visiting during my future stays in Cherokee. Conveniently located on the shopping strip, it was a great place for my wife and daughter to drop me off at daddy daycare so that I didn't have to shop 😊 Instead I enjoyed a few coronas with lime and hung out. Traveling thru Cherokee from a Bryson Smokey Mountain train ride. I was with a old high school aquantence that I met up with. She has grown up to be one of the most beautiful, elegant, and classiest lady's I have ever met in my life. We decided to get a drink without the casino hassle. We drove by what appeared to be a pool room biker bar. We walked in and went to two open seats at the bar. We were greeted warmly by the bartender who ran off available mixed drinks. During conversations we learned there was a poker run to raise money for a local basketball tribal youth group patrons son. The last stop was this bar. They were running a 50/50 raffle to help raise additional funds. We both bought raffle tickets to help the cause. We were immediately greeted and thanked by the recipient. His mother also thanked us and invited us to stay for a great barbecue, which we did. We were both treated warmly with dignity and respect the whole time. Moral of the story. For those of you who may wear polo shirts, khakis, and void of any tattoos looking for a game of pool or a drink in Cherokee. Please do not drive by this place because it looks rough. t’s definitely more of a local bar, but we were just visiting and everyone was super friendly. I’d definitely recommend stopping by!
