Bitterroot Stoves & Billiards

Don't know about the billiards, but these guys are great with wood stoves. :) I have been using Bitterroot Stoves & Billiards for my annual maintenance for five or six years now. One major servicing way back when to replace seals and such. Always on time. Good quality work.

Take your business to Trader Brothers. These people at Bitterroot Stoves were nice enough initially, but when it came to trouble shooting a brand new wood stove they were zero help. We spent over $6,000 on a new woodstove/piping/set up in our brand new house and immediately had issues. The woodstove would smoke out of the bottom, filling our house with smoke. Initially they said “that’s normal” and “use more kindling”. But it wouldn’t smoke just when starting the fire, it would smoke after hours of a blazing fire was going, with any windy day or downdrafts. One day we came home and our brand new house was so full of smoke we couldn’t sleep in it. In the middle of winter we had windows open all night to air it out and I had to scrub the ceilings, walls, floors and furniture of my new home to get the smell out. I also had to purchase more carbon monoxide detectors and an air filter to help with the smell in my again, brand new home. We called bitterroot stove again and were told “this was normal” and could not get them to come look at it or provide any helpful assistance. One phone call to trader brothers and they were immediately on it, they ordered us a few parts that help, and off
