Very knowledgeable! Helped me learn a lot about pools and how to care for mine. Always friendly, always answers any questions I have and never pushes me to buy something I don't need. Also good prices in comparison to larger stores in the area.

**UPDATE** I’m updating my review just to note how fantastic the service continues to be at Southern IL Pools. Any time I have an issue the owners are promptly doing what it takes to resolve it. Just recently I noticed a leaky hose after 10pm on a Thursday night. I was leaving very early the next day for a trip out of state. I messaged Tristan and he was there with Ashley the next day making the necessary repairs. You just don’t see this kind of service these days and I really appreciate it. __________________________________ Always very friendly service here. I appreciate how helpful they are when it comes to helping me to take care of my pool.

These guys are absolutely my favorite local business! We purchased a home with a large above ground pool that they had installed for the previous owner. They have made it exceedingly easy to make sure that our pool stays as beautiful as it was when we bought it. I don't know what we would have done without them. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit if you own a pool, or if you want to have one installed. They'll take care of you.

Just left this store and was treated very poorly by " employee? the younger of the 2 that were present" She acted like she didn't want to help at all if we were not buying her pump, pool, equipment, or chemicals. If I were in market for any of those things - I wouldn't purchase from her. I did buy one bottle of algae remover a friend recommended that your store carried. However, I was hesitant to even do that. Customers should be treated as if they could be making large purchases now or possibly in future. Good luck w that!!!!!!!

I would give them zero stars if possible! Completely rude and not at all helpful, they basically refused my business and told me that I won’t be able to afford to get my pool in order. Witch is strange because Rx poll in Marion helped me find everything I needed
