Do not do business with Ohana Pools. The City of Danville officially condemned the pool they installed in our yard as an unsafe structure (Case# 26-000899). ​My wife is a smart, educated professional who handled this purchase to support a local business. Instead of professional service, she was treated with total disrespect. Every time I attempted to step in and help resolve the mounting issues, a man named Matt would call my wife and speak to her in a completely unprofessional and condescending manner. It is a predatory way to do business—taking advantage of a woman shopping alone and then acting like a 'tough guy' over the phone when confronted with their own mistakes. ​The facts are undeniable: They dug without permits, ignored the City's 'Stop Work' order, and placed a pool directly under high-voltage power lines. The water line is only 14.5 feet from the neighbor's high-voltage line, violating the 22.5-foot safety code. ​They kept nearly $17,000, never delivered the winter cover or alligator pad, and then issued a retaliatory $1,100 'dig fee' when the city shut them down.
