While staying in Iowa City we went to find a local pool hall. TCB was first on the list. Great atmosphere and the staff are amazing. It was a Tuesday night so pool was free. The pool tables could use some love but overall a great place to have a drink and shoot some pool.

Don't put money in the machines that you don't want back. Bartender and bouncer couldn't handle the problem and wanted me to call their "daddy" in the morning.
Don't put things in your establishment that you have no control over. Even though 25 or so people left the establishment when the cop showed up. But what do I know...wouldn't have anything to do with you serving under-aged college students...

Loud & uncomfortable. Very little seating, just stood and drank. In & out within 15 minutes.

Great place to go to play pool. There's usually a table open or opening up soon. The drinks are good and they usually have some good drink specials going on. Not overly crowded like some of the bars downtown can get on the weekends, but still attracts a decent crowd.

It's a nice clean environment, that seem to always have open tables. But with the tables costing $4 per 30 minutes, and beers $5 a piece it seems a bit expensive for a college bar. Avoid it if you are on a budget, but it's a nice place if you are looking to avoid the crowds, and have some cash to burn.
