Chris and his partner did a complete breakdown and rebuild/reassembly of an antique Brunswick Monarch pool table for us. They also moved it from a different location to our house. They were prompt and thorough and did a great job for us! Not only that, he quoted us a very reasonable price for the job, but prior to finishing he advised us that we didn't need to replace our bumpers, they just needed to be re-felted; so he charged us less than we originally agreed to pay him. Chris and his team are outstanding. About two years ago, Corner Pocket re-clothed my pool table with worsted cloth, and I was very happy with the work. In recent months, I started playing almost every day and noticed subtle ball curves and tiny chips forming on the balls. I eventually realized that some of the screw heads holding the drop pockets were protruding just enough for the balls to strike them. These screws had been in the same position since the table was originally assembled 15 years ago. I think the original installer had simply installed them incorrectly. I contacted Chris, and even though the work had been done over two years earlier, he came out with his crew and reattached all of the pockets so this issue can’t happen again. As for the ball curving, the cloth grain near the pockets was slightly wavy, which I suspected was affecting very slow rolls. Chris and his team removed the cloth, re-stretched it properly, and even re-leveled the table, something I wasn’t expecting but definitely appreciated. The table now plays better than it has in 15 years. The pricing was extremely fair—free! I highly recommend Corner Pocket LLC.
