Rax Billiards and Lounge

I'm from Des Moines, and finding a nice little dive bar that's not overrun with tourists is so refreshing. Your bartender for Saturday night was an absolute delight, and your regular patrons were very fun! My only complaint is how are you gonna be a billiards lounge with one pool table? So silly. Thanks for being here when I visit, Rax!

I am not a regular patron at RAX but I went up there because I thought it would be a safe space for me to sit awhile before returning home to deal with a volatile individual. I was unsettled but sober when I entered the bar but the bartender didn't even give me a chance to sit down before rudely telling me she wouldn't serve me. I was so embarrassed. She didn't even ask what I wanted which admittedly was just a cherry Coke! I didn't go there to drink. I went there to get out of a bad situation for a bit. So instead I got a soda from the gas station and sat in the parking lot for an hour. I thought about going to another establishment but after that I was more upset and didn't want to be around anyone. After speaking to others about the situation it seems she has done this before. Whether she knows you or not, she'll refuse to serve you simply cause she doesn't like you for whatever absurd reason. But apparently this same bartender has served minors and turned a blind eye to some other shady things that have taken place there. I have never been a regular there and needless to say I will definitely never return. I have no respect for this establishment .

Excellent place to let loose. This place hosts among the best karaoke events ive been to. The service and the people are great. The bartenders are very professional. If you stop by say hi to Heidi. Shes a spectacular host and bartender. Always have a good time when im here.

Rax is a go-to for a great evening in Milford. The staff are experts at making whatever drink you like, the prices are reasonable, and the darts and pool are a blast. Every night at Rax is sure to go down in your memories forever and ever. I love this bar and enjoy it immensely.
