Janesville Pool & Tap

It's a small town dive bar and the pizza is decent. It also happens to be the only place in town so we choose to support it. But don't expect anything fancy. The drinks are on point for a dive bar as well as the atmosphere. It is close, local and fun. Oh and don't expect the ice cream machine to be working. It's kind of like McDonalds. :)

Would not let us in because we were on a short bus that consisted of people of the age of 40 traveling to an Elks Lodge in Charles Ciry.

My friends and I have been in there twice. The first time we went it was alright, we were only in there for one beer. The second time made me never want to come back, the locals are so terrible in there. We were playing pool just for fun and the locals sitting at the bar called us where we were from very rudely. And then starting saying very rude things to us while we are playing pool and made a comment about my hair color. They made us feel so uncomfortable we left.

Why don't you work on your curb appeal? Old insulation in the windows, Monday Night Football signs still hanging out front at the end of February. Just looks like a dump from outside and I'm embarassed to drive by. Although it does fit in with the Confederate flag flying in the lawn across the street. Also, stop letting the local drunk run his mouth to unfamiliar faces.

Manager wouldn't let a group of 13 adults in due to a "pool tournament " whole front of the bar was empty. Thanks to the bartender who tried to let us in and wanted our money and tips.
