Opie’s Pizza Poolroom and Pub

My first time to Opie's was really great. They have great pizza as well as salads. There are lots of good beer choices. They get their liquor license tomorrow, so there will be good drinks, too! I do love a good dirty martini! This is a great place to hang out if you love to play pool. I'm going to have to bring my brother here. I haven't spent much time in Pittsburgh, Kansas, but this feels like a great place to be. The new owners are super great and very friendly. This place is a diamond in the rough.

We were visiting Pittsburg for the first time and were very excited to try Opie's Pizza after seeing the menu and reading great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. When we walked in, the space was very dark, and there was no hostess or signage indicating whether we should seat ourselves. The atmosphere felt more like a bar, with many people playing pool, and we were unable to find an employee to help us or take an order. After waiting and feeling unsure of what to do, we ultimately decided to leave. We were really looking forward to trying the pizza, so this was a frustrating experience, especially as first-time visitors to the area. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience for future guests.

The pizza and cheese bread are fantastic! The layout of the pool tables is genius. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. My only negative comment is that the coca cola that I ordered tasted sort of like chemicals, so maybe the machine wasn't properly cleaned. But other than that I'd definitely go back. Not worth removing stars since overall it was a great experience. **Update: just went back tonight for the second time. One week since my original review. The food and service were wonderful, once again, AND the issue with the soda fountain seems to have been addressed, so everything was wonderful!

Great place to play pool, delicious pizza, great music and drinks as well. Great prices & customer service. Jessica was awesome. I love this place.
